Cutting costs, maintaining standards: optimizing IT infrastructure without compromise
Reducing costs without impacting performance or reliability remains a major challenge in industrial environments. Modernization is often seen as a compromise. But what if there was another way?

In industrial environments, IT infrastructure is essential to ensure continuity and performance. However, upgrading critical systems often requires significant capital investment.
One industrial site recently faced this exact challenge. The need to upgrade its IT hardware was clear, but the required CAPEX was considered too high. At the same time, the solution had to meet strict operational requirements: fully functional hardware, compatible software, and valid manufacturer licensing.
This is where our approach made the difference.
Rather than following a traditional procurement model, we identified and sourced refurbished communication servers along with the required software licenses. We ensured that all components remained fully compatible with the client’s existing systems and compliant with manufacturer standards.
Crucially, the client retained access to official manufacturer support, including licensing from manufacturers. In other words, from the client’s perspective, nothing changed in terms of reliability, performance, or support. Just lowered costs.
The impact was immediate and measurable:
€6,000 saved on a total budget of €32,000
18% reduction in costs
Secured site development, enabling the project to move forward without delay
~40 tonnes of CO₂ avoided by extending the lifecycle of existing equipment
We provided a complete solution covering both hardware and software, with dedicated support on both fronts. This allowed the client to secure its infrastructure without compromise, while avoiding unnecessary investment.
